#1 Windscreen angle for 2+2

Post by kensharp » Tue Jun 17, 2014 1:21 pm

Having a light hearted argument with friends who say the windscreen angle was made more upright for the 2+2 when it was first introduced. I know the angle was made more rakish by changing from 46.5 to 53.5 degrees for the S2 2+2 but is anyone able to clarify whether the S1 angle was different for the 2+2 than with the roadster of coupe?

#2 windscreen angle for 2+2

Your friends are wrong......the windscreen angle on the S1 2+2 is the same as the FHC and the OTS. It is some 2" higher, however. The S2 2+2 has the windscreen carried further forward on the scuttle, and thus has a "less inclined" angle.
Regards,
Norman.
