#1 Forum Error?

Post by SEJohnson95 » Tue Oct 14, 2014 11:46 am

Don't know if anyone else keeps getting this problem, but I have an issue with the majority of posts (old and new) that when I click on them this message comes up:

Image

Only started happening a few days ago, I seem to be able to view posts I looked at up to a week or so ago but nothing new, unless it's a thread I've previously contributed to. Very strange... Unless it's something to do with the uni network?

Simon

I have had several problems with "502 Bad Gateway" appearing as I navigate through the Forum and I only managed to get rid of the issue by clearing my Browser (Chrome) cached images and files, history and downloads. Not happened since. You could also try a different browser (Opera, IE, Firefox) to prove the point. Let me know how you get on. I have no idea what causes it but Christopher storey had a similar problem a few weeks ago.

Simon and David : I think that in my case it was a problem at my end. I had recently downloaded a new version of Firefox because I was having trouble getting e mail on Chrome, and the whole thing went wrong, with popups galore etc, error messages etc . So I deleted both Firefox and Chrome, cleaned my registry , and started again with Chrome only, since when it's been ok

Although I like firefox, I've had this problem when using it on other forums. Don't seem to get it on chrome.
