has anyone got experience of changing from su to weber carbs on a series 2 e type?

Is the question related to final setup or just the installation.

Are you buying a complete kit?

general really as to benifits over su carbs and general driveability. setting up is not a problem if correctly jetted, thanks for you reply Terry

The only question you need to ask yourself if you are going to fit Webers is "Do I like the smell of petrol?"

On a road car they will make no difference to performance but will dramatically increase fuel consumption and be a pain to keep in tune. After a few miles you will also feel sick!

Stick to the SU's. Webers are eye candy.
