Currently rebuilding v12 and just wondered what engine oil members are using in their engines or could recommend

You'll likely get as many opinions as replies.
As a Luddite I use Valvoline 20W50. I change the oil every 12 months or so anyway so I don't care if it will last 50,000 miles and I don't believe much that oil companies say about their products.
I live where it never freezes. If it does freeze where you live you might want to use an oil that is thinner when cold.
