Throttle shaft bushing. Painted?

I have a bit of a dilemma here. The throttle shaft bushing (C13605) and bracket (C18548) that are bolted to the firewall are painted silver on my car. I've looked at all the unmolested car pictures I can find and still cannot tell whether it's painted or cadmium plated. I checked the Jag-Lovers paint list and the bracket does not appear, leading me to think it was originally just plated. Does anyone have the answer? This is splitting hairs, I know, but annoying nonetheless.

Thanks, David. I have quite a pile of parts off my car that have been painted but should not have been. I'll add the bracket to the box.

With the exception of a very few parts everything metal was cad plated. Basically if in doubt cadmium plate and over paint if you get it wrong. Easier than the other way around.
