#1 Speedometer failed

Post by Claudio » Tue Jan 27, 2015 1:20 pm

Hello Gents, good morning,
My ride with the Jaguar last sunday resulted in a sudden speedometer failure. With no special reason for the cause as far as I can recall.
I cannot precise if the problem is on the instrument or on the speedo cable or on the angle drive that couples the cable supposedly to the gear box. So question: before dismantling the dash panel or the other end of the cable, I would like your comments on where can the problem probably be? I have asked a SNG Barratt representative and he meant thet most usual part to fail is the drive angle (Part C25547). Thank you. Regards.
