#1 Crankshaft dampers

Post by paulsco » Thu Mar 19, 2015 10:08 pm

Hi,

Can anybody tell me the difference between the Series One crankshaft damper C24366 and the Series Two; XJ6; EAC4050?

On the SNG web site the former is ?199 and the latter ?145.
They look the same, and the only difference I can think of is that the timing marks may be in a different position?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi.Paul....did not answer your post becaus did not know the answer....however to make timing easier on my 4.2 i made up a pointer and fitted just under the distributor and made a new mark on the damper to suite...Steve
