There certainly is. Follow the numbering in the Jaguar wiring diagram. The bonnet plug terminal numbers are those in the circles:

I did my bonnet plugs last night :)

Dont forget to follow the numbers on the plugs as they are handed.

Number 6 is for a fog light (optional) so I just left the blank plug in to help the plugs grip each other. :?

Good luck... I messed everything while welding the wires to the socket (got the original one with the wood slices).

On the diagram, I see the number 2:(headlamp high), 3: (headlamp low) 5: (side lamp) , 7: flasher right , 8 flasher left I don't see the 6 which is for the fog light that y havn't (thanks Ian) I think that the 1 is for the Horn ( center) but I don't see the "4" !

Another remark is that I keep the original plug apart , not on the car , because I am afraid with connecting problems with this old electric part, but may be Am I wrong and it would be better to fix the original one.... ?

If you propose changing the plug you will need to buy a matching female socket as the repro plug I bought did not correspond / match each other. Just be aware of this possibility
