Fibreglass, as was the 1958 Lotus Elite, the 1959 Daimler Dart and the 1953 Chevrolet Corvette. The first car to have a fibreglass body was a 1946 prototype of the Stout Scarab, but the model did not enter production. It was first developed in 1933. Make sure all the chrome is there as replacements are hideously expensive and be aware you may get paint damage where the top sits against the body.
