Hi Stephanie

Welcome to the forum. There is advice on how to post photos so we would enjoy seeing some when you're ready.
Please do tell us more about the car, how well you are getting on with it and do feel happy to post questions or ask advice.
We have all posted lots of questions, and received lots of useful help, guidance and advice, plus a few fun response all in good humour.
There are many forum members not a million miles away who you can meet in person to learn more and compare notes.
Have you joined either the Jaguar Drivers Club or the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club? Again useful sources of information, meetings and can be useful for valuations for insurance and often insurers will give club discounts.

So??. we pick her up the weekend before Christmas. Have to say I'm astounded/delighted by the cost of insurance - cheapest of our five cars to insure :D

I've held off on the excitement up until now but it's starting to build. Will get Mr Plum to set me up with some sort of photo account so I can whack some pics up when we get her back.

For photos, I find photobucket the easiest to use for this forum. And it's free.

I did :D

Weather was fine for the drive home, then dry again on Saturday so we went for a run down to Goodwood. It drives really well and is in great condition for the age as it is an unrestored car. I am absolutely in love!

Mr Plum will set me up a flickr type account over Christmas so I can pop some pics up.

Hoping for a dry new year so we can head over to Brooklands for the NY day event.

We bought from Graham at CMS and I found him brilliant to deal with - he did a fair bit of work on the car before he let us have it, fixing an oil leak, dodgy rev counter and a few other bits and we should hopefully now be ok to put a few miles on it and get to know all the quirks.

Happy days!!!
