It's the day before I move back to uni after the Easter break but if I go back the day before I'll come down, so expect to see me there :D Richard isn't sure yet but I plan on being there.

this is really shaping up well. All we need is a nice bit of Spring weather and we will be set. Harry and Lee, you out there?

Do Harry and Lee have that much control over the weather, then?
Can I borrow their talents for other days, please? :D

ah yes! well no but if Lee brings a FHC then it will be sunny, and if he brings the OTC it will rain, so a sort of reverse indicator I think . I have one more a local friend of mine , just joined on the forum TrevorD, not sure he knows how to post onto the list just yet so will add him:

latest e mail from Bicester , Heritage not Village don't worry David!
Thank you for registering the E Type Forum for the Sunday Scramble on 24th April. Tickets for this event will be available to purchase online from mid-January, we will contact you to advise when they are on sale.
In addition to promoting this event to the members of your club could you please make them aware of the ticket booking process. In order to purchase tickets as a member of a vehicle club they will need to select the ?Registered Club Member Vehicle? option from the booking page for this event on the Bicester Heritage website. Further into the process there will be the option to choose your club from a list. The link to the booking page will be added to the following page when tickets go live.
http://bicesterheritage.co.uk/events/
I hope this is of help, should you have any questions regarding this event please contact me and I will be happy to help.
Best regards
Elaine
so it appears we will have to register and buy tickets on line. I must say they are very accommodating and most welcoming. Would it not be good if the E type forum were the biggest club there on the day??? :D

Andrew,
When do we register and under what club? as the E Type Forum I presume is not a registered club. Not sure if Bicester is to bothered if we are a club or not. It seems to suggest in their communication that we pick from a list of clubs.

I have an issue with my E whereby there is corrosion with the end of the inner N/S cill, which can be viewed after removing the trim from below the quarter light and is part of the reason to get the car restored.
Unfortunately I do not have the skill or experience (and more's the pity) to attempt such metalwork, however I am delighted to say that the car is now booked in with CMC for January 2017 for them to work their magic and having visited them on two occasions I just enjoy seeing such skill in action.
However, what I'm getting round to say is that it concerned me with the corrosion whether it was silly to use the car but I have been advised today that it is not something to be concerned over and so it's going back on the road asap and the BH visit is providing the impetus to get the diff off to change the seals!
Not only that but I'm looking forward to having a sniff of Andrews Vaumol!
