#1 Smiths instrumentation

Hi all

There may well be a link already on this excellent site to this but I thought it might be of use. It is not specific to Jaguar but does provide a lot of information regarding wiring and principle of operation of many Smiths gauges which were used in many a British car of the 50's 60's and 70's - Jaguar included.

If you look carefully at the where the needle sweeps on the small gauges, you'll see a couple of small white spots on the gauges - these are the calibration marks.

kind regards
Marek
