Hello from Honest John,
Hi, Long overdue in joining this forum. Although I am currently a GT40 pilot I have never forgotten my roots, first raced Etypes in the 1970s , then built and campained a quick hillclimb E type in the 80s, restored/ repaired/ rebuilt quite a few including the ex Warren Pearce modsports E and more recently the ex Malcolm Hamilton/Rob Beere V12 E,
cheers,
JOHN OXBOROUGH.

Thank you all for your warm welcome, my nickname Honest John came about from when I worked in the film and TV industry supplying action cars .
Harry Enfield played character called Honest John who sold dodgy motors, I did supply some dodgy old motors for a drama and apparently I looked and sounded just like the fictional character, hence the nickname, I have some film credits referring to me by that name!!
cheers John
