Checking out the forum and a hello from a newbie in West Sussex contemplating growing up and fulfilling a lifelong ambition of owning one will need to be a 2+2 ! But looking at the rising prices I need to hurry up.

Also need to clear out a few existing toys ie Bay camper 1979, beachbuggy 68, landrover series 3, 1969 airstream caravan and rib boat!

Anyone in the Pulborough area who wants to give me any tips on etype buying and ownership it would great to hear from you.

Looking forward to checking out the forums.

Welcome and you have certainly come to the right place for help advice and comaraderie. I am sure there are members near you. Well done for pursuing the dream. It started for me when I was old enough to know what an e type was. About 1965

Welcome to the forum. Have you had a good look through the Knowledge section and bought a few useful reference books so you know what to expect?
Also look through other posts to new members as there is useful information of people to talk to, eg Angus Moss.

Yes....loads of info on here. The Anders Clausager book on factory original E types gives a pretty reasonable overview. Of course there are loads of E type books. If you can get to Bicester on April 24th there will be lots of cars to see and of course owners to talk to. Iif you have a car by thn we'd love to see it...and you too of course!! I am sure most would agree...buy the very best you can afford as a rusty wreck will cost a fortune to put right. Good luck....you will love E type motoring. J
