Stainless alternator shield
#1 Stainless alternator shield
Am I imaging it or does someone produce a nice shiny alternator shield in stainless steel or polished alloy? For a 4.2 series one?

I purchased one recently from SNG for a Series 2. They also have the Series 1 4.2 version
C25812
plus 3x spacers C19706
for engines from 7E6333 and onwards.

Thank you for that. I have just bought the series one painted version but had hoped it was stainless. I don't suppose you have a picture of yours fitted by any chance?

Hi
The part for a Series 2 is different, C31181 but here are a couple of pictures of that one fitted. It's a bit mucky at the moment as I drove from Switzerland to Austria a couple of hours ago

Made mine from aluminium: a slice from an old gaz stove. Works and looks great.
