Hi Everyone
Has anyone else seen this ad in Ebay:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-E-type ... 1908111754
From the photos it looks in fairly good nick although the non original interior/exterior colour combination would be a bit of an acquired taste. Interestingly the seller would arrange the shipping at no extra cost and his feedback is very good to boot. He seems to be in the business of exporting old sportscars.
Might be of interest to any member looking for a cheeper route into S1 ownership.
No connection to the seller by the way.
Cheers
Alan

Yes now you mention it I do remember this being discussed before. His feedback seems genuine enough but checking his other cars shows the same "diverse" settings.
Caveat Emptor as the saying goes I suppose.

#4 S1 car
This one appeared a few weeks back. Advert says it has been re listed due to non payer.... Wonder why?
Stpallas has listed loads of cars over the past few years.....mostly lower end runners down to piles of rust needing full restoration...

Hello
I have bought a car from Mario (stpallas058) before, car was just as he described. I know a couple of folk who have had cars from him as well...all have worked out well.
His descriptions are very short...but as every part is so subjective I don't blame him. If a car is of serious interest then the best option is to go and view it.
I think the reason they are photographed in different locations is that he sources cars from different places and acts as a broker. When I was negotiating to buy my car it was already at the docks in storage. I do think he has seen and inspected them himself.
Regards Arron

A fool and his money are soon parted. Never, ever, buy a car unseen off e bay - particularly 3500 miles away and from someone who is acting as a "broker" ( although this interesting fact is undisclosed )

Good point Christopher...so Mario(stpallas) dosent own the cars he sells, that explains why the photos are at lots of different locations.....he may well be a genuine guy but this has been also flaged up on other forums....pity in his write up he dosnt come clean and say that he is just a broker

#8 Buying
I would never buy any car without seeing both the car and the documents too, whether 3500 miles away or three miles away. An HPI check is not a bad idea too....no idea if one can HPI check US cars....
