I have replaced the steering/ignition lock on my S2 2+2 with the S3 version as this is apparently all that is available now.Can anyone advise the correct wiring to the existing loom. The new switch has more wires and different colours attatched. They are fitted with a multi plug at the end which i am prepared to remove. Please do not suggest I look at the wiring diagrams they do not help. Thanks Nick

Since a quick glance at the wiring diagrams side-by-side, not only 'helps' but more or less immediately shows what goes where, it seems odd that I'm not allowed to refer you to them, but you're the boss.

Dear Nick,

If you are unable to make a truth table for both switches or understand the correlation between wire colour to function then pay somebody else to do this job.

kind regards
Marek
