Hi all........ mainly for the newer members of the forum that are unaware of the Jag Spares Day.... its a good day out if you havent been before dozens of traders under one roof selling everything you may need..all the usual parts suppliers plus many more selling used and new old stock parts this Sunday 20th http://www.jaguarsparesdays.co.uk

I'm looking forward to it. Flying over from Switzerland specially - and missing the Retro Classic Show in Stuttgart :(

Hi,

I went for the first time last year, fascinating event with loads of stalls and lots of parts on offer.

My advice would be to make sure you have a specific list of what you need and also that you understand exactly what the part you need looks like. I found quite a few parts mislabelled, I was looking for tools and a jack.

I'm making my list, and checking it twice... :)

Fortunately I have a running list of the parts etc I am looking for. Note to self. Remember to print it out before leaving.

#5 Spare Parts Day

It is indeed a very nice event, but it is a shame that most deals take place on Saturday evening and on Sunday we buy the left over. Sorry for my broken english

Thank you for the tip off.

I went along, met a few nice folk and bought my first parts.

Full front suspension kit.
Full coolant hose kit.
New front brake cylinders.
New brake pipes, flexi and copper.

I will have the Allard back together later this week and then I can start.

Thanks again.
