Whilst the engine is away being rebuilt, we are taking the opportunity of repairing the damaged picture frame (we knew about this when the car was imported into the UK) which was done when the engine was previously removed / re-installed wrongly through the top of the engine bay !

As you can see, the work is progressing well with Murray at E-Conic on the picture frame restoration !!

We also repairing more known damage to the radiator frame caused when the car had been previously incorrectly towed back in it's earlier life.
Here it is in the car showing the radiator out of vertical position.

Here's the actual damage !

Amazingly, none of this really effected the car when it was being driven, however when you know it is damaged it has to be fixed when there is an opportunity to restore it properly.
My thanks to Angus for the continuing updates and work on the car, can't wait to get back in the driving seat in a few weeks time

Engine now fully rebuilt by CMES and no other issues were found, so "back on the road" again,

Great news Mike and looking forward to seeing you following the 'first 500'. That photo is not of the completed engine bay as you can see the temporary tape holding the over flow pipe in place prior to the correct strapping being used. (Just before David pops up!).
