#1 Alloy Bonnet?
Deliberating restoring my original 62 bonnet or possibly springing for an alloy unit from SNGB. Anyone have experience with an aftermarket alloy bonnet?

These are cheaper than steel bonnets AND they're fitted... http://www.mphmotorpanels.com/e-type.htm
No experience with them personally but others may have.

Yes, actually I have visited Chuck at Monocoque Metal Works. He does nice work and has done some custom repair panels for me. I have considered having him repair my bonnet, as the rest of my metalwork is going to take some time and test my skills. Chuck is a great resource at a reasonable price.
