Hi everyone
I did the big no no a couples of month ago.

I bought a car in pieces that I never worked with before.
Previous owner did some work on it and a lot of parts are already finished. But it is many years of restoration in the garage for me!
So I am glad to find this forum! The car is an 1966 LHD OTS.
Regards Mats

Welcome Mats and we look forward to watching your restoration. There is a big Jaguar fraternity in Sweden (well there was when l bought a car from there 9 years ago).

Thank you everyone!
I'm now changing direction with my hobby going from a Corvette to an E-type. I had an accident with the Corvette that put it to an end. A failure in the clutch hydraulics started an engine fire. Without a fire extinguisher I could only step out of the car and watch the disaster right in a traffic jam. Not fun at all. Guess what will be my first extra equipment in the E-type?
But after the tears dried I decided to buy this E-type from a colleague. The restoration started for 25 years ago but stod still for about 20 years before I bought it. So now I will speed it up a bit.
/Mats

Welcome Mats !
Sad to here about the fire, but good no one was hurt, only the feelings. At the end of the day it's just metal (and glassfiber). Happy to see a convert from US to UK cars
