Paint and interior color

I`m in the process of disassembling my 69 series 2 fhc for restoration.
As suspected the car was delivered originally with different color scheme.
I have not yet decided what color to use but maybe the original colors would be of my liking

I have taken some pictures of what I suspect is willow green paint
The interior look to be some sort of green but have been resprayed biscut tan at some point

Could anyone help ?

Suspect it will be too much green

Found some pictures on the interweb with willow green and that looks like a nice color.
Couldnt find anyone with both willow green and suede green interior.

It's definitely willow green, not sure on interior colour.

Willow green is definitely one of the coolest colours offered.

It would be my first choice with Grey and silver grey up with it.

Maybe with Cinnamon or red?

The one in your link politeperson (what a name :) ) look really good as well.
Could it be that the original paint was without a clear coat and thats why it looks flat and more "minty" ?

Well, in theory the colour should be defined by a paint code so therefore reproducible all over the world to be able to match accident damage.

However, I find it a bit more difficult to get a match on some of these old Jaguar shades.

For example, I experienced a great deal of variety with Opalescent Silver Grey. Three "shades" were listed for Jags around the 1960's. I asked my local paint shop to provide all three in aerosol format so I could test them.

In testing they ranged from almost gunmetal grey to almost silver. Luckily the middle shade matched my cay, which in itself was a 30 year old repaint from the West coast.

I can get the paint code of the Barbary Hill car if you want, as I know the owner who is very accommodating. Then you know what you would be getting, I have seen that car in the flesh, it is very nice.
