There are two main irritations - having to log on every time you visit, or indeed make a post, and the Forum layout is defaulting to the Mobile/Tablet version even when viewed on a PC or laptop. I need to spend the day trying to understand what the hell is going on as the new server software was supposed to be a simple clone of the previous one. Very puzzling!

Login problem solved!

Remaining problems solved! Somehow the style we were using got changed or corrupted which buggered up all manner of things - Flags, Recent Activity, Attachments, Avatars, Toolbars, accessing your UCP, Contact Us, PM's, page formatting and lots of other stuff you would not have noticed until you tried to do something out of the ordinary. We will live with this style until I understand what happened but at least we have full functionality returned with no data loss which is the important thing.

For those who have not used the feature clicking on 'New Posts' takes you straight to a list and each one you open goes to the most recent post rather than having to navigate there.

You just need to replace 'myetype.co.uk/forum' with 'forum.etypeuk.com' on each link - a find & replace text editor should do it.

Yes, Thankyou David, I am sure that looking after something like this generates loads of whinging with little reward!

I am a fairly new member but have already saved hours by search for answers to my questions.

10 minutes on the forum saves hours in the workshop.
