Recommendation for Mechanic near Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Looking for a good Jaguar mechanic in the Southend-on-Sea area, that can adjust/shim tappets and properly tune a Series 3 OTS V12. Any ideas/recommendations.

Great shout Simon, but I would have to re-mortgage the house to afford JD prices!

But without doubt people who know what they are doing.

Thanks for the advice. But looking for an independent Jaguar specialist charging affordable prices, if that exists!

Easy! Alan Collins of Alan Collins engineering. Really nice guy who charges very reasonable rates. His workshop is also in Maldon - he used to do a lot of work for J D Classics! Phone number is 01621 852058.
