#1 seat belts

Post by marc » Fri May 26, 2017 8:09 pm

Hi everybody,

i am thinking of buying the nice red seat belts i have seen on different cars on a few pictures, with the Jaguar motif on the chrome central piece, but on SNG website they say they are for an open seater, and my 3.8 is a FHC. Do you have any experience with these seat belts, or could you recommand nice ones?

Thank you in advance!

Best to ask sng directly. They are very helpful. I am pretty certain the anchoring point over the shoulder will be in a different location in the ots to the fhc so the belt may be a different length as appropriate.

Marc,

Have you thought of buying them from a seat-belt specialist like http://www.quickfitsbs.com/ - this is what most of us on the Forum do, I believe. When you talk to them you are talking to people who actually fit them to the cars themselves, which - on the OTS at least - is important, as there are various approaches.

Fitting on an OTS is indeed not the same as on an FHC.
