#1 Forum response times

Post by Heuer » Mon Jul 17, 2017 10:47 pm

We are currently having issues with the Forum server which means there are long response times when you are surfing or posting. Images are also not being rendered correctly. I have reported the problem and they are looking into the issue. Bear with us!

No, just an overloaded server. We will be migrating to a new faster server tomorrow so the Forum may be unavailable at some point. Apologies for the problem and hopefully we will be back to normal sometime tomorrow.

100% agree with Geoff (us S2 chaps have to stick together :drinkingcheers: ).

The forum is great - some really knowledgeable, practical owners, the information is invaluable and the odd bit of fun keeps us all sane too.

They were never meant to last this long... :banghead:

I guess the problem is that there are too many of us and we are talking about E Types far more than we used to.

So the problem is down to the fact that everybody is being just too darn helpful  :thankyouyellow:

The Forum is now on the new server and response times are now very quick. Thanks for your patience.

David

Being almost IT illiterate I haven't the faintest idea of what you have had to do or what you have to do to maintain the forum but I greatly appreciate you doing so. As a member of a few motor forums I have to say this forum is head and shoulders above the rest.

Keep up the good work and thank you.
