Hi All Knowing Ones !
On my 1969 US OTS I have a small round button just above the hand brake warning light , does anyone know what it should do ?
When I press it I can hear a click like a relay clicking but nothing seems to happen .
I've looked it the operating handbook and they may be a horn button ? But it's difficult to see in the picture and my horn works on the end of the indicator stork.
It has 2 red wires coming from it but I've not traced them very far yet .
Any body else have one of these ?
Thank you for reading so far

It is definitely a non-standard item that a previous owner has fitted for some purpose. You would probably have to trace the wires to find where they connect to.

Hi Mark
I'm guessing you are right by the lack of replies no ones seems to recognise it! As you say I will have to trace the wires .
Thanks for confirming it.

You're welcome. The hole there is original as it is where the light for the rear window heater goes, but on the OTS this is obviously not fitted and a blank is fitted over the hole. This would be a good choice to reuse for some other function as the hole is already there, and it is common for it to be used for some upgrade or secondary control switch.
