#1 E Type Speedo....... oops

Post by dal2.0litrefrogeye » Sat Feb 24, 2018 12:49 pm

Up at race retro . And there's a guy who makes house hold ornaments out of old engine parts . Some of the ideas I must admit work quite well , desk lamp out of old piston and Conrod all polished and powder coated,

And then I bump into this ....... yep a 160 mph E Type Speedo stripped and made into a clock . Price ? £125
Almost tempted to buy it and re-engineer back into a Speedo :banghead:

If it's a clock you are after Darren, you could always buy a GENUINE E type Smiths clock.

Funnily enough someone is selling one at a bargain price in the for sale section of this very forum.

Warning... Thread blatantly hijacked for marketing purposes.

Cheers for the ....... good condition, reasonably priced, suitable for a S2 E, from a reliable E Type forum member ,clock offer ....... ( I'm now wanting comision )
But I don't need a clock ..... I've built a time machine .... well it should be quite fast

You kept the flux capacitor installation out of your restoration thread! Can we expect a write up in the Upgrades section? Does it require the addition of an extra relay?
