Great. Six months before I finally get my dream car, the most worthwhile upgrade is no longer sold. I definitely notice issues with the throttle. It’s heavy and inconsistent.

LHD cars are so much worse than RHD (which seem fine to me on the two I've driven) because there are so many friction points and directional changes between the pedal and carbs. Not to mention the inverse ratio aspect of the two part LHD pedal floor mount pedal.

You can do your own cable throttle conversion without too much trouble if you are a somewhat skilled fabricator. The largest benefit will come by replacing LH vertical and cross rod, but for maximum smoothness you will want to also eliminate the pivot at the firewall behind the manifold. Or just adjust the stock linkage as best you can and keep it well lubed and grumble a bit every time you drive.

Any headway on this? I’d love to purchase a Mangoletsi or replica kit.
