Thank you to all. The red one is a USA model.
In person it looks like in good condition, but the price is high. I will contact the local jaguar club in order to make a check by an expert and see if there are any hidden defects.
Again, thank you so much for the advice. If I do not trouble I'd love to show you any new listing that I will find and to submit to your judgment.
Ciao
PS: Thank you Mistery type, silver photography is my first hobby: I like the craft in my darkroom!
Great indecision

Hello,
still looking ;-)
I met today the owner of the car, spending with me 1 hr of testing drive, so I have some new details.
- The car is an USA spec, with manual gear
- The final-drive ratio is 3:28:1
- The color is red, even if the under-hood and the engine frame are blacks. The owner claims that some US cars came with this combination.
- Under the doors I could not find the three holes to drain the water. I took a picture to better understand if they were covered with screws or plugs.
- The engine runs really well and does not smoke, has dual fan and after an hour test drive the oil pressure was on the 40 and the water temperature on the 80.
- I took some pictures of the interior, I would ask for an appraisal.
The owner declined to ? 43 000: how does it look now?
Here the new pictures:

Final drive ratio will be either 3.07, 3.31 or 3.54
All E-Type's were painted body colour throughout. No US cars had a red/black combination
Seems very expensive for a 2+2 to me. Spend a bit more money and you could get this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-E-TYPE ... 3f40fbf0cc or for less money this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STUNNING-E-TY ... 3ce9904882

I already saw both, but the first one is too expensive and I don't like the color. The second one has automatic gear and the price in euros is not so low, but thank you for the suggestions!
