Where to buy grease nipples?

Not available on the SNG website.
Not sure of size(?)
Any help on where to source grease nipples gratefully received.
Have a broken one on a tie rod but would like to pick up a few - straight/45/90

Hi Paul...local car, engineering, tractor, lawnmower tyoe places should have them...or on the SNG site look up the part the nipple is from...eg track rod end http://www.sngbarratt.com/ProductDetail ... 3312d0&l=7

Gird your loins and venture into the evil that is eBay. You'll find more choose than you knew existed. Check the size you need, could be 1/4" bsf or maybe 5/16" bsf. Or a PO may have fitted a metric version.

Hi Jasper,
The correct Jaguar Part No for these nipples is C3044/1. They are 1/4" x 28 TPI to conform to SAE zerk standards. Regrettably, if you order these from SNG, they will supply 1/8" BSP nipples, which have a major diameter of 0.383", and do not fit anywhere on an E-Type that I know of. I have notified them of this error on at least 3 occasions over 6 or so years, but no action evident......
To complicate the issue, there are nipples made with BSP threads (also 28 TPI), so be wary. My advice would be to source from EBay or similar, straight/90 deg/45 deg are available.....
