Hello,
I have found two different rear sway bars in my shelf. Any idea if they are model or year related?
I have indicated A and B, both came with S1 cars
Comments appreciated

The top one with long arms is FHC/OTS and the short-armed one below is S1/S2 2+2 I believe. Could probably check.

Hi Peter,
the top one I also had on my all original S1 2+2 January 67, and late 66 FHC. I was actually thinking one is early and the other is later.
So, can not confirm you opinion.
Please investigate further

Hello Maikel
You are the boss if you have seen them on your cars but here is my view:
My own 70 FHC and a customer's 68 FHC both have the top 'long arm' anti-roll bar. The spare ARB I have from a 2+2 (and another one I had from a 2+2) look like the bottom one.
The difference is because the SWB cars have a vertical rear bulkhead that leaves a lot of space in front of the IRS, so the 'arms' need to reach right back. The 2+2 bulkhead is horizontal and is muxh closer to the IRS so the arms are shorter to reach the drop links.

Pete,
YOU are right. Also on my 2+2 is the shorter type. Double checked today.
I have had a few of those bars powder coated and was believing they were a couple of front and a few rear. But actually, they were a couple of front and the different rear bars.
Obviously when mounting them, you realize that only one type can fit the 2+2 which is the shorter of the two.
Many thanks, question answered.
