Dear All,
yes I know this topic has been discussed several times, but I have fuel smell in my trunk.
Which petrol hoses let through the least or better no petrol vapours at all?
Fuel tank gaskets new, Facet fuel pump sealed with Dirko, etc...
Thank you in advance...
Robert

Hi Steve,
Fitted it about a year ago. I will see if I can find any left and let you know.

#5 Re: Fuel smel in the trunk
Hi Steve
Found I had bought some more 2240 for another job so I have some 5.5, 7.3 and 9.3mm bore. Not silicone flexible by any means but quite easy to achieve the minimum bend radii quoted in Cohline's spec sheet above. Less effort required than the equivalent size but thicker walled R6 and R7 fuel hoses I have.
There is some initial set from storage coiling so if you wanted to change direction more than once the force to overcome the set would have to be added.
Hope that makes sense,
Bob
