Seat runner spacers

In my box of seat runner bits I have 2 different thickness of spacer. I know where the thicker spacers go, but not the thinner ones of which I have 10. They are the same OD and the same ID, but 2.7 mm thickness as opposed to 9.5 mm. At a guess, they were used on the assembly line to somehow adjust the fitment of the seats, but how??

My 69 FHC only had the thick spacers. Eight of them. Four for each seat. I don't think a a few mm will matter much.

The 3.8 cars had four #BD17648 packers between slides and floor and two #C18698 spacers at front fixings between slides and seats. The same small spacers can be used between the radiator and the tie bars. The 4.2 cars used four BD17648 packers between seat slides and floor and four BD13529 packers between slides and seat. These numbers are per seat.

For a period (some 2,000 S1 4.2 cars) they used six BD13529 packers between slides and seat.

I couldn't find any reference to part number BD 13529 on any of the usual sites, but I've no doubt the ones I have are correct. And it now makes sense why I have 10. 8 for the seats, and 2 for the radiator tie bars. When I installed the tie bars, I had to shim them out using 3 thin washers on either side.
