Where does this wire go to?

Hi, please see attached photo of the wiring under the glove box on my RHD series 1 2+2.
The wire arrowed comes out of the loom somewhere behind the centre of the dash. It is a single core with a plastic sleeve on it. It is the only wire with a sleeve in this area. Total length about 2m. Unfortunately it colour has faded so I cannot identify it.
Any ideas as to what it is for?

The colour won't be faded under the plastic core.....

It is fairly obviously a heavy current cable, and i would hazard a guess that it will go to one of the large terminals under the heater. A further guess would be that you have a remote push button starter solenoid somewhere on the right hand bulkhead, and that it goes there ( my early 4.2 did ). You need to check both ends with a continuity tester to confirm this, preferably disconnecting it at the remote solenoid and the battery end before doing so
