Well done Steve. Will you be telling us of the work you’ve done? It’s always interesting to hear what people have had to do to get cars back on the road. Good luck with the remaining work

Well Geoff, it has been a long time in the restoration (A very very long time!) I think some where in my post's I mentioned that the car belongs to a very good freind of mine who bought the car as a basket case in 1982. I did some work on it back then, replacing panels, leading work etc, the car has been worked on on & off since then, has had many location/house moves but has always been garaged. Once the body work was done, it was re-painted getting on for 35 years ago! The paint looks just as good as it did when it came out of the spraybooth all those years ago, we are just in the process of giving it a light cut, then a good polish, we are amazed at just how good the paint looks. The engine was re-built from the top down, brakes, running gear etc were renewedthen it stood for a few more years until I managed to get the owner (Barrie) motivated over the last couple of years. We are now at the stage of getting the engine commissioned (It has never been run) and having the braking checked over, so fingers crossed, it should be going up to Andy at Hutson's to sort that out at the begining of February, then back to us to finish a couple of bits.
