Hi what colour should the grill in front of the radiator be painted on a series 1 2+2 ? Mine has been seems to have been several colours .

I have a couple of these as spares and 3 fitted on my cars and they are all bright silver coloured. cheers John.

Hi again,
personally I did use Hammerite but unless you give 3 coats To ensure total coverage rust would appear within 6 months due to the chemical that makes a gap in the paint for the hammered finish. I changed to using silver aerosol Wheel paint from the local car spares and have had no problems since, one coat is OK too.
