We are now (well Classic & Sports Cars Essex are) getting to the stage of rebuilding the car after the extensive body restoration. I need help on my RHD OTS 21st September built chassis 850166 OSG/Red car.
I'm finding that a September 1961 build had a lot of parts that changed around that period.
Should it have Vertical or horizontal brake reservoir caps in black.
RB310 or RB340 voltage regulator for the Dynamo.
Where can you buy a small flange header tank.
Can I buy chrome wires and correct early spinners without the black painted Jaguar.
Got 2 early AB spinners will get 2 more and get refurbed later.
Really enjoying the project but not the cost of it as much !!

Danny,
Interesting as a cheaper option than the nice Angus copper version (maybe but your personal manpower).
An interesting discussion on Jaglovers wrt the corrosion of the metal parts in the cooling circuit.
Mainly related to aluminium rads and grounding, but it is worth reading (albeit sometimes repetitive) as we know that the issue of steel header tanks is the potential rapid corrosion:

I will ask Angus about his header tank, looks like the way to go if he still makes them.
I did think about cutting the flange, I’m sure thats been done before also it looks ok.
