Can some kind soul kindly tell where the earth lead for the wiper motor attaches? I can see from my photos that the larger of the two round terminals bolts under the bottom right fixing bolt to the bulkhead but irritatingly I cannot see where the other end fixes to the wiper motor to provide the earth circuit? thanks in advance.

There is a star washer UNDER the lead terminal.

On my 4.2 cars( I have never had a 3.8 ) the small end goes under one of the small hex screws which hold the plate onto the wiper gearbox, but the arrangement which Andrew shows in the lower picture seems more sensible
