Greetings from Atlanta
#1 Greetings from Atlanta
Just a quick note of greetings from an Etype owner that had wandered out
of the fold for 25 years. Got bitten by the bug again back in the Spring and just had to own another E. Stumbled upon your web-site and enjoyed the forums and different topics. Anyway, just wrote to introduce myself. Glad to be part of this forum.

Happy landings. This is a very helpful and knowledgeable lot you have found.

Thanks for the greetings. I had forgotten that the Jag is whole different animal compared to Detroit iron. Tuning triple SU's is quite different from a Holley. By the way, I have a 67' 2+2.

Thanks for the greetings. I am pretty sure I will be picking the brains of the folks on this site. Phil asked about the series of my E. From what I can gather from the VIN # and another site called Jaglovers. I have a late
series 1. It has the open headlamps, but triple carbs, and toggle switches.
According to that other site, the 1.5 didn't start until a couple hundred cars past mine. The previous owner(s) made sure they put their personal stamp on the car, thus I have found some interesting wiring, upholstery that doesn't look factory and a piston that was missing a huge chunk.
