#1 Best car-cover for indoors/outdoors

Post by Kes » Thu Aug 07, 2014 1:51 pm

Hi all, my S2 roadster is off to the Goodwood revival next month to appear on a trade stand and unfortunately, I wont be there (it's a long story) Anyway, I need a good quality cover that can be put over the car quickly in the inevitable event of a shower and also to prevent any more dust than is necessary settling on it. So I need something that won't scratch the paint or chrome and at least showerproof. Any suggestions?

No problem is that great that it can't be run away from.

I'm also interested to know if someone has a good advice on this.
I actually have an indoor car-cover, but it makes micro-scratches on the new paint. I guess a MicroFiber one would probably not affect the paint.
The best then would be a waterproof car-cover, with the inside made of microfiber cloth.

There has been much discussion on this subject in the forum. I was looking into the subject but was warned that indoor covers can cause micro-blistering in the paintwork and the best option is no cover at all.
