Not so Newbie saying hello

Hi All,

I registered here a few years ago and never posted.

My name is Pete, and I run a 67 +2, and am looking to get more active in the UK E Type scene.

I've had the car about 8 years, and have replaced most of the bodywork, when I got it, it was running Tri DCOEs, but now sports twin HS8s on a modified North America Stromberg manifold, the distributor is gone, in favour of 36:1 triggered programmable ignition.

All that is about to get removed, and replaced by a home brewed EFI set up based on XJ6 S3, Triumph motorcycle parts and Megasquirt, anyone on the Jaglovers forum will have seen my exploits here :D :D

I've also rewired the entire car from scratch using modern cables and connectors, removing as many connections and sub looms as possible, so whilst the circuits are 'standard' there a fewer failure points.

As you can gather I'm pretty hands on with Fabricating etc. which is poles apart from managing IT Systems.

I'll get some pictures uploaded, when I find my way around.
