#1 Converting LHD Wiper Motor to RHD

Post by rossjag » Wed Nov 18, 2015 8:53 am

Hello
My car 1E16122 was LHD including the newer LHD Wiper Motor. Does anyone have any advice/info on converting this LHD wiper to RHD for parking wiper blades

Thanks
Ross, Brisbane

Yes Ross. There's lots of advice/info here on wiper motor conversion if you search for, err, 'wiper motor conversion'. Bit cryptic I know, but we're all a bit mad like that. Give a man a fish etc...

Actually that would be wiper AND motor AND conversion to find all three words in the same post. There is also a series of articles on LHD/RHD conversion written by Mike Cassidy in our Knowledge Base: viewtopic.php?t=700 which contains details of how to modify the motor and parking switch.

Before I posted that reply I just put the three words in, with no Boolean search terms David.

Worked fine to get info on the topic.
