The item lower left in the picture is the fan relay and mounting.

John,

yesterday I removed my radiator for inspection/overhaul. Here some pics of the relay situation on my late S2 car. It's a US version, and has a/c. Scroll to pictures 138 and 139. For further datails, or more or more detailed pictures, please contact me. I have the radiator off at the moment. I assume the second relay has to do with a/c, and former posted SNGB grafic is w/o a/c.

John,

Here's a photo of the bracket on a non A/C car (although I'm fairly sure it should be cadmium plated rather than painted black!). The bolt securing the relay bracket also secures the bracket for the coil and ballast resistor (if fitted)
