I didn't want to hijack the previous thread on period injection, but it did reminded me of a couple of more current v12 injection systems I saw at the recent London Classic Car Show.

Etype UK version here, quoted as 25mpg, but I think that's when mated to Uryk's 5 speed (in pic too). My standard spec v12 gets 14mpg on normal roads and a heady 16mpg on motorways:

Looks great ! But the "inlet pipes" are much too short , that the motor can use dynamic gas movement below 6000 rpm. The resonating frequency of these short lenth is much higher than 50 per second. 50 per second is 6000 rpm of the crank.
Same for the short headers.
