#1 How to adjust the 4th gear switch ?

Post by Durango2k » Sat Jun 04, 2016 5:38 pm

It seems my 4th gear switch comes alive very early, at the slightest moovement of the gear lever.

I thought to adjust it a bit by putting a washer under it so it sits more proud of the cover.

Correct idea ?

I have fitted and wired an OD, so I really want to be sure it's activated in 4th gear only, not along lateral lever moovement.

My OD switch has a fibre washer between it and the top cover.

Iirc I have one copper washer found and re-fitted.

I'll try 2 washers next- and report back.
