Thanks. Will do. It's my father's car, who has just returned from a week away in France with it.

Thanks.
Data held in link above (around time of purchase) were before car had a full restoration by Lee Ridley of Castle Classics. Car went back to original colour of dark opalescent blue with grey interior, as on heritage certificate. Location of Sandy was also previous owner.

I have told my son to keep a look out , he lives close by just south of Canterbury .

Thanks for that. It's been shared on different media (Facebook etc). It was my father's pride and joy and he is obviously gutted as he's put a lot of love and time into getting it how he wanted it.
Last sightings were round Folkstone area being driven erratically!

Add those other numbers as Steve suggested and note it has been stolen, if anyone is offered the car and googles the numbers they will then come straight up on xkedata .

That's a worry. According to a Dutch friend of mine an OSB one was stolen in Amsterdam last night too:

Turns out the scuzzballs were even caught in the act on video:

That is our worse nightmare!

Feel much sympathy for your father.

Fingers crossed for the right result….

A nice thought would be the miscreant spends five minutes in a cage with a hungry live jaguar :fingerscrossed:

I do hope this has a happy resolution. The one slightly comforting thing about its being seen being driven erratically is that it does not sound like a professional job -- covered wagon etc

Awful. I do hope it is recovered safe and sound.

As I have said in other posts.....please please PLEASE people.....consider security both when out and about and when at home. Do not rely on any of the cars original security devices. Add a secret fuel pump switch. Use a tracker. Use a disklok or removable steering wheel. Remove essential bits of ignition systems.

Our cars are now worth a lot and are obviously targets for thieves both amateur and pro....

I had a lovely hols with mine. I took a feck off huge wheel clamp for the hotel car park at night.

Car still not been found.

Anybody got any tips on updating info. on xkedata.com. Website doesn't seem very easy to navigate. Do I need to be a registered user.?
Thanks for all your kind comments and tips.

I have hopefully updated the information on xkedata.com. Think it just needs approving by admin.
Thank you again. Not used the forum to post before, just browsed in past. Members have been very helpful.

At least if they're caught in this country (UK) they'll get a stiff sentence. Probably a £50 fine and 3 points on their non-existing licence.

Seriously sad news, and close by to us in Kent. I will keep my eyes peeled for this. Have you got it on Piston Heads? Well worth putting it on the Jaguar board and the Yesterdays Heroes board. there are thousands of car blokes on that forum.
