Is it a 3.8 or 4.2.....as far as im aware 3.8 spring...4.2 diaphram....but check parts catalogue for your engine.....your photos show a diaphram clutch...Steve..ps what flywheel?..how many teeth?..should have the engine number stamped on the rim

If the gearbox is a replacement and clutch non etype it may have been sourced from a different Jaguar altogether, hopefully not🫤

Thanks all, yes it could be that. Brilliant Steve
Just to be clear, engine is numbers match 3.8. Gearbox is correct Moss, but not from this car originally

"as far as im aware 3.8 spring...4.2 diaphram", that was my impression also, and the opinion of my very experienced local parts guy. But this book says otherwise, read, and since mine is after April 64, I actually have the correct clutch! 8-)

Allow me, maybe too small to put in Wanted section, this balance link has gone missing over the decades on this project, anybody have one left over? 29 (and 30 and 31, easier to make/get). C20341
