Roof/Hood/Spar - to - Door - to Windscreen Adjustments

Having searched like others to find answers to this ongoing issue of curing water leaks, fitting new hoods etc, would it be possible to make this a ‘sticky’, so subsequent searches are easier for everyone? Not sure what this involves, but the narrative and pictures that guys have produced are absolutely invaluable. Trying to find an article that describes some of the issues confronting you when contemplating this task is not easy, but here we have a brilliant series of inputs, but can we make it easier to find.

I know you will, but don't forget to post some photos and experience of how it all goes. We don't have a guide on this.

It's taken a while (seven years) but I'm about to link this to another post about OTS door-glass where I've made some suggestions about how to go about re-fitting the glass into the carrier-frame.
