#1 Brake pipe clips

Post by Stevejaguar » Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:01 pm

Hi, on the drivers side of my RHD Series 1 2+2 runs the fuel p1pe . It is fastened to the underside with clips with corresponding holes in the chassis. On the other side runs the brake pipe from the brake light switch to the rear of the car, What holds this pipe in place? There are no clips on my car, nor are there any holes in the chassis for any clips to fasten to. Its been like that for at least 30 years !
Thanks
Steve

I have a series 2 but on my car there is a 90 degree lip running down the underside of the car floorplan
Front to back
Along this lip are holes for steel clips that hold the brake pipe
They are small and hard to see and may be covered in underseal
I don't know if these are still available
I replaced mine with plastic push in clips

Thanks joe, I will have a dig through the underseal tomorrow.
What plastic clips did you use?
